Introduction:


“Self-limiting temperature electrical heating band”is mainly composed of flat electrical heating band formed by extrusion process by conductive composite materials(semi-crystalline polymer and conductive carbon black)，processed into band shape by chemical or physical hinge. Due to the results of power change according to temperature change caused by effect of extremely obvious positive temperature resistance coefficient(PTC), when the ambient temperature drops the power output accordingly increases; when the ambient temperature rises the power output reduces correspondingly; when the stable temperature in the design automatically produces object temperature laid on the heat tracing on pipelines, regardless of the complex changes in local temperature between day and night, among difficult seasons, it can make the pipelines maintain a constant temperature, no need of additional set of temperature controller. It uses PTC power adjustment function to realize, identical with the former mentioned “high-value PTC parallel band” produced by our company. The heating elements are not only a electroluminescent element but also a temperature measuring element, also a power adjustment actuator.
